“We need more space!”
Eighteen months ago, NorSeas tenant Harco Heavy Lifting raised a flag:
Overwhelming success in scaling a company specialising in complicated heavy lifts off- and onshore, Harco needed space to accommodate their remarkable growth.
The meeting was, as the saying goes, quite productive.
In July, the 4,300 m² production facility was ready for occupancy, and in September, Harco could move into the connecting office building as well.
Going from idea to delivering a turn-key and brand-new 6,000 m² production facility in less than 18 months is an achievement, everybody involved can be proud of.
“We could not have done this anywhere else,” Harco CEO Sten Dyrmose says: “Esbjerg is where the industry is, where the partners are, and where there is a unique willingness to collaborate. The same spirit has characterised the construction project. The attitude throughout has been ‘we'll find a solution’, and not once have we needed to hit each other over the head with the contract to resolve an issue. The collaboration with NorSea has been exemplary.”
Partners in growth
For NorSea, handing over the new facility is a significant step towards strengthening its position as a trusted partner to the energy sector.
“We want to be a supplier and partner for the entire energy industry, especially when our customers are experiencing growth and development,” says Henrik Munk Andersen, Property Director at NorSea.
The facility was delivered as a turnkey project by KG Hansen & Sønner A/S and completed in record time.
“Working with KG Hansen and Ingeniør'ne has been a pleasure. Going from signed agreement to completed facility in just 18 months says a great deal about the commitment, problem-solving mindset and drive demonstrated by everyone involved,” says Henrik Munk Andersen.
