In an everchanging energy sector, two partners have been constants: For the past 50 years, the largest operator in the Danish part of the Nort Sea has been collaborating with the largest base operator onshore. Initially as Maersk Oil and Danbor, now as TotalEnergies and NorSea Denmark, the partners cooperation is truly long-lasting.

On NorSea Denmark’s 50th anniversary, Managing Director of TotalEnergies EP Denmark, Eric Delattre, has kindly compiled a statement on the daily operations with NorSea Denmark:

“We have a shared history with Danbor/NorSea Denmark since 1974, where both Maersk Oil and Danbor, both part of the A.P. Møller-Maersk group, laid the foundation for a long-lasting collaboration with fifty years of working side by side.

Esbjerg has been the heart of our North Sea operations for half a century, witnessing rapid development in the city, the company, and North Sea activities — from starting the Danish oil and gas adventure to realizing the Tyra Redevelopment, one of the biggest offshore infrastructure projects, and more recently on advancing renewable and climate solutions such as wind and Carbon Capture Storage (CCS). NorSea Denmark has over the past decades, supported our offshore operations in many ways, including the transportation of goods to and from Esbjerg, warehouse management, and general maintenance.

We extend our congratulations to Danbor/NorSea Denmark for their collaboration over the past decades, supporting our operation in the North Sea.”
