Congrats to European Energy with successfully producing the first five tons of e-methanol at the Kassø Power-to-X plant; a major step towards a greener future!
The methanol is made by combining green hydrogen from Siemens Energy electrolyzes (powered by Kassø Solar Park) with biogenic CO₂ from Tønder Biogas. Once fully ramped up, the facility will produce 42,000 tons of e-methanol annually.
