After many years of strategic cooperation, the forwarding company ITS Danmark will become part of NorSea Denmark on November 1.
“Both companies have benefited greatly from cooperation over many years,” says Anders Aalund Olsen, COO of NorSea Denmark: ”ITS Danmark is a well-run and healthy business, which is respected in the industry. We see it as a natural step in our mutual development that we are now adding ITS Danmark to NorSea, and we look forward to the further development together,” he says.
Thue Kilsgaard, Director Road, NorSea Denmark, agrees: ”We have enjoyed a trust-based collaboration with ITS Danmark for many years, and we are looking forward to further developing the opportunities we have in an even closer partnership,” he says.
For almost thirty years, ITS Danmark has specialized in fast door-to-door delivery of time-sensitive deliveries from its base in Kolding, Eastern Jutland. With the merger, the 20 colleagues in ITS Denmark teams up with +500 colleagues in NorSea, and 18 trucks and vans will get a new logo.
Bo Thomasen/Owner in ITS Danmark, is happy to join NorSea: "We feel a close community of values with NorSea and are convinced that NorSea has the ability to continue in developing ITS Denmark as a good place to work and a conscientious supplier," he says:
"For now, it's business as usual; we will continue to deliver the quality and service our customers are used to – just with a different logo on the car. I am sure that under the NorSea umbrella we will have the opportunity to strengthen our Kolding Truck and Express operation and improve our service options in Scandinavia and Europe," he says.
