“Fyn is a strategic hub for the green transition and has a strong industrial environment with room for development. We see long-term potential and want to be an active part of that growth,” says Henrik Munk Andersen, Senior Manager, Property & Facility Services at NorSea.
NorSea, which already operates Denmark’s largest port for energy production in Esbjerg and has locations in Aarhus, Padborg and Copenhagen, is experiencing increased interest from companies at Odense Port. Over 50 energy companies are already established in the area, and NorSea expects to contribute with flexible, turnkey integrated solutions within logistics and port services.
“We are following the development closely and have received specific inquiries from customers who want our competences here. Our experience with turnkey solutions for complex projects will be a strength for the industry on Fyn,” adds Henrik Munk Andersen.
“We are pleased that Norsea Danmark is now establishing itself at Odense Port in our newly built logistics and production halls to grow and create solutions for customer segments within the energy sector and the defense industry. We are experiencing increasing inquiries within the two sectors, where a company like Norsea Danmark is precisely a picture of that development,” says Michael Schou Jensen, Sales Director at Odense Port.
