NorSea Denmark will be strategically responsible for all wind activities and wind-related companies in the group, including the companies Energy Innovation Group, Elevon, WindWorks Jelsa, and NorSea Wind.
NorSea has identified four clear ambitions for growth in the new constellation: Port Service, Logistics, Operation & Maintenance and Facility Services.
"With Esbjerg as the headquarters development of our group wind activities, we will invest in more colleagues, machines and buildings related to the wind industry," says NorSea Denmark CEO Jesper Høj-Hansen, who expects to invest 'three-digit million DKK' in expanding the company’s relevance to the wind sector.
Part of the strategy is to upgrade on the technical side and expand the service business. Optimizing and consolidating the wind industry as partners and facilitators is considered a key value proposition, as is site management including moving and storing components intelligently and establishing sites.
In short: Covering the entire value chain from factory to installation vessel by our global one-stop-shop.
"The Danish energy sector is advancing in a historic transformation with oil and gas being phased out in favor of green energy. NorSea Denmark has shown that the green transition also holds significant business potential, and therefore, it is obvious to invest further in this development," says NorSea Group CEO, John Stangeland.
