NorSea Denmark has opened an office in Grenaa. The office at Havnecentervej 1 underlines NorSea's ambition to get an even better grip on the wind market in the Kattegat and to better support, among other things, rig and agency services.

"There is increasing activity in Kattegat, and in Grenaa, especially within the last 5-6 years, there has been great development within offshore wind and oil/gas. We know that marcelling and pre-assembly sites, among other things, can be a challenge in the future, and Grenaa has an advantageous location here,” says Lars Skov Christensen, Business Development Director Energy Solutions at NorSea Denmark:

"The activities fit in well with our one-stop-shop concept, and we see both a potential in collaborating with the wide range of companies that work towards offshore today, and in attracting new business ourselves. We look forward to building a network in the area", he says.

Henrik Carstensen, CEO of Grenaa Havn, confirms the development and anticipates an exciting and positive future:

"We are looking into several of the projects located in the Baltic Sea and thus our 'backyard' will be able to rub off on Grenaa. Many ports experience a lack of space and sometimes a lack of skills, and therefore more and more interesting projects are coming this way," says Henrik Carstensen.

He sees a good match between Grenaa Havn and NorSea:

"NorSea Denmark, with their international approach and experience, can be a contributor to developing the Port of Grenaa and securing new projects. It is a 'perfect match'," he says.
