Senior Discipline Engineer
Engineer with a minimum of eight years of proven relevant experience in the offshore industry plus EDP user knowledge and MS project user.

Senior Discipline Engineers are divided into two categories:

  • Software, electrical, process, instrument/control, and offshore project commissioning.
  • Mechanical, piping, welding, process, and knowledge of corrosion problems and offshore project commissioning.

Discipline Engineer
Engineer with proven discipline experience and appropriate technical qualifications, plus EDP user knowledge and MS project users.

Discipline Engineers are divided into two categories:

  • Software, electrical, process, instrument/control, and offshore project commissioning.
  • Mechanical, piping, welding, process and NDE/corrosion, and offshore project commissioning.

Construction Supervisor
A person with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in management of offshore handcraft disciplines, work planning, work supervision, quality control, and safety awareness.

Furthermore, EDP user knowledge, knowledge of materials and equipment used in offshore installations, requirements for material certificates as well as knowledge of Technical Standards is required.

Technical Draughtsman
Technical Draughtsman possesses knowledge of materials and equipment used on offshore installations and is able to produce drawings for the piping and structure disciplines in Autocad.

Construction Assistant
A person with relevant experience within work planning and supervision, quality control, and safety awareness.

Furthermore, EDP user knowledge, knowledge of materials and equipment used in offshore installations, requirements for material certificates as well as knowledge of Technical Standards, is required.

Foreman
A skilled worker with a minimum of five years of relevant experience within relevant trade, supervisory, and safety awareness experience plus EDP user knowledge.

Electrician foremen have knowledge of the standards and regulations relevant for working offshore with installations in explosive environments – in particular, the ATEX and associated standards for the offshore industry.

Foremen are divided into the following categories:

  • El./instrumentation
  • Scaffolder/rigger
  • Piping/structure and mechanical.
  • Painter
  • Insulator

Foreman Assistant
A skilled worker with the relevant trade supervisory and safety awareness experience, plus EDP user knowledge.

Administration Clerk – HLO/HRO
Has experience in accommodation rig administration, including communication on air traffic frequencies. Probably holding a national N-JOR certificate with English phraseology, according to BL 6-08, or having obtained applicable approval from Statens Luftfartsvæsen.

Electrician

A skilled electrician has proven apprenticeship and relevant knowledge of the “Danish Heavy Current Regulation”, and is also qualified as LAUS. Knowledge of the standards and regulations relevant for working offshore with installations in explosive environments – in particular, the ATEX, EN 60079 and associated regulations according to “Danish Heavy Current Regulation”.

Electricians undertaking installation, inspection, and maintenance of installations in areas with explosion danger, must be experienced within and have knowledge of the various protective measures, installation practices, and common knowledge of area classifications.

Instrument/Electrical Technician
A person who in addition to the requirement for an electrician also possesses education and extensive field experience in troubleshooting and commissioning activities within discipline.

Technicians are divided into the following disciplines:

  • Instruments
  • Electrical

Pipefitters / Instrument pipefitters
Our Fitters are divided into the following categories:

  • Pipe Fitters for piping/structure and mechanical, with relevant proven apprenticeship and Isometrics drawing knowledge.
  • Instrument Pipe Fitters for instrumentation piping, with relevant proven apprenticeship and experience in installations of instrument tubing.

Maintenance/Production Technician
A skilled electrician, mechanic, or equivalent with relevant knowledge of the operation of petrochemical plans. Holds a 5-days “Danish Emergency Team” course.  

Crane Operator/Roustabout
A person who holds a “Tårn og svingkran A-certifikat” and a 5-days “Danish Emergency Team” course, and has offshore crane driving experience.

Material Controller / Clerk
Material Controller / Clerk possesses relevant technical experience, and will be qualified to act as storekeeper, order materials with offshore requirements/certificates, and conduct material control upon offshore receipt.

Scaffolder/Rigger
Skilled scaffolder (scaffolder education) or a person with minimum of three years of experience in the erection of offshore scaffolding and rigging, or a person who as a minimum holds the following courses or equal:

– A skilled scaffolder (scaffolder education) will be preferred.

– Amu Center – Vestjylland: ”System stilladser offshore”

– Amu Center – Vestjylland: ”Anhugning af byrder”

– Amu Center – Vestjylland: ”Komplekse løfteopgaver for riggere”

COW Lead
COW Lead is a competent person which can participate in controlling permit handling in collaboration with operation supervisors offshore. Experienced in safing and de-safing activities, P&id drawing reading, and understanding

COW Assistant
COW Assistant is typically a runner who assists a COW lead or operation supervisor. P&id knowledge.

Advisor HSE
Advisor which can assist platform management with keeping safety activities, driving activities, engaging with work parties, and helping out with risk evaluations/toolbox talks, etc.

Telecom Technician
Is a competent person with experience in maintaining offshore installation equipment such as Emergency shut down, fire and gas, communication, etc.

Maintenance Work Preparer
Is a competent person with experience with maintenance activities planning and creation of work orders in SAP. Can be within either mechanical or electrical/instrument.
